Tis' The Season.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's finally time to break out the Christmas tree and sing holiday carols while drinking eggnog.

To be honest, I've never had eggnog before, but there's something that very unique about Christmastime. With all the twinkling lights up around as you walk in the street, it evokes a feeling that has a sense of nostalgia and warmth to it that is comforting.

This is the first Christmas season that I will be living in the city, so I'll take you along with me as I enjoy the holiday festivities that Chicago has to offer.

With the holiday season, there are also people that find this season to be particularly difficult. Maybe this season they have a loved one that passed, maybe this season they struggle with depression and anxiety. You never know what people are going through, especially this time of year, so check in with your friends and family, and make sure that they know that they don't have to suffer in silence and alone.

Let's do what we can to spread the holiday cheer, especially in this day and age. Tis' the season.
